Leapotswe English Medium School
Leapotswe English Medium School is a private, independent co-educational institution located in Maun, Botswana. The school has its own feeder Pre-School which started in 1982, while the Primary School first opened its door in 1987 and Secondary session in 2008.
Academic Direction
Leapotswe School provides a broad-based education that is founded on non-religious principles. We offer a curriculum that is based on the Cambridge International Examinations program, with a wide range of subjects leading to a four-year IGCSE certification.
The Primary School offers a rich blend of study between the Botswana primary Education Curriculum, and the Cambridge primary Program. Over the last couple of years, Leapotswe School has won the populace of Maun (and elsewhere in Botswana)
We have built the reputation for excellent performance results in both PSLE and IGCSE examinations since the first national and international examinations.
Curriculum
The great pace and progress that has been made within the last couple of years with our results in both PSLE and IGCSE examinations have greatly enhanced the trust and confidence of the public in our school.
Admission Policy
Step 1: Parent/Guardian fills in an admission form, which is collected from the bursar’s office.
Step 2: Written interview is to be administered in three subjects: English, Mathematics and Science.
Step 3: Successful students – those who attain an average mark of 60% or above – will be admitted upon payment of school fees.
