BA ISAGO University’s academic programmes are designed to meet the labour market needs of Botswana’s economy in the 21st century. It is continuously being recognised as an institution of choice for tertiary education, and increasingly winning the trust, respect and confidence of its stakeholders internally and outside the country.
BA ISAGO’s curriculum is consistently responding to the ever changing dynamic’s of the global economy. Its programmes are fully registered and accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA).The University has a student population of under 3000 with branches in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun. The University offers a wide range of postgraduate, degree, diploma, professional and certificate level programmes, on a full-time, evening, block release and weekend classes. The University has established a School of Graduate Studies and Research, in addition to the four Faculties. All graduate programmes will be managed from this School and will also offer impetus to research at this level.
BA ISAGO’s programmes have a direct bearing on the human capital development of Botswana. The University’s philosophy and guiding business principles are premised on the understanding that there must, at all times, be a meaningful balance between its business imperatives and the academic pursuits of its students. All these, resonate well and are in tandem with the country’s new National Human Resources Development Strategy and also some of the vital pillars of Botswana’s Vision 2036.
BA ISAGO offers its own home-grown programmes, while others are offered in collaboration with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, ACCA, ICDL, UNISA’s Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL), UNISA’s Centre for Business Management (CBM) and the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA)
